FATHER O'REILLY WREATH LAYING CEREMONY

The Hibernian Benevolent Society of Atlanta lays a wreath each year at the memorial to Father O’Reilly at Atlanta City Hall.

The 2027 Father O’Reilly Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place at Atlanta City Hall on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM. A reception will immediately follow from 11:00–12:00 PM at the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. We hope many of you will be able to attend. 

The Father O’Reilly Wreath Laying Ceremony will begin in the atrium area (TBD).

Following the remarks, we will proceed outside to the Father O’Reilly Memorial for the wreath laying, and then walk together to the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for the reception.

Please join us at the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception after the wreath laying for an Irish tea reception.
